Summary vs Large Image Cards
The summary card shows a small square thumbnail beside the title and description — compact and suitable for most links. The summary_large_image card features a prominent full-width image above the text, which commands far more attention in the feed and is ideal for articles, products, and visual content.
Choose the large image card when you have a compelling 2:1 image and want maximum visual impact; choose summary when the image is secondary to the text.

Tips for Effective Cards
Keep titles concise so they are not truncated, and write descriptions that entice without repeating the title. Use a high-resolution image — at least 1200×675 for large image cards — and include your @handle so your account is credited and linked. When Open Graph tags are also present, X falls back to them, but explicit twitter: tags give you precise control over the card.
